For the last several years, downtown Houston has been undergoing a dramatic change that the Houston housing market has not seen since the Allen brothers first formed the city, back in the early 1800s. Shops, restaurants and retails stores have placed themselves along the bustling streets of downtown, making for a more attractive and perfect living situation in Houston than ever before.

In addition to the hundreds of restaurants and shops that have been added to the core of the city, dozens of new Houston real estate opportunities have sprung up in Houston, offering a special living perspective in beautiful lofts and condos. Many of the commercial and residential buildings have been preserved and given historical significance which makes up the Historic District of downtown Houston.
